Demetris Nicolaides has been recognized by the Journal of The Physics Teacher (Volume 43, 2005) as a contributor of correct solutions to physics problems in a worldwide contest in physics. Follow the links to the recognition pages:

2005 was the World Year of Physics to honor Einstein's miracle year of 1905. To commemorate this event, the American Association of Physics Teachers held various Problem-Solving Contests opened to all physics enthusiasts worldwide. Problems were tricky and challenging. The names of those who submitted correct solutions were recognized on the website of the Journal of the Physics Teacher. Detail results of the contest were presented in the September 2005 issue of the Journal of The Physics Teacher.
