Using Elluminate Live!™ software as part of its initiative to provide expanded services for the Bloomfield College Community, the Center for Academic Development has tutorial sessions available through a unique, yet familiar, approach to academics.

Our online tutorial service provides academic support for the wide range of majors and classes at Bloomfield College, and offers the same courtesy and professionalism as the traditional tutorial program offered by CAD.

CAD offers both live and archived (pre-recorded) tutorial sessions. A professional tutor serves as the moderator, with the ability to use speech, instant messaging, as well as a whiteboard, to demonstrate or write examples for students.

Some of the benefits of the Online Tutorial Program:

• Easy to use interface, including instant messenger, to have formal and interactive discussions.

To use the Online Tutorial program, users will need:

• A computer
• An internet connection (broadband preferred)
• The Elluminate Live! software (available for download)
• Headphone/microphone (where applicable)

Computer Requirements:

• Elluminate Live!™ requires Sun Microsystems Java Web Start™ to be installed on your machine.
