Welcome to the Peer Mentor-Tutor page!

I am Mary Ellen Haley, one of the program co-coordinators. In addition to the PMT Program, I am Assistant Director of the Center for Academic Development and the coordinator of the ACF 97 course (which I also teach) and study groups. Among my favorite things are novels, old movies, good music, and last, by no means least, the PMT Program, where student enthusiasm for learning and growing is contagiously high.

Working with the PMTs has been one of my most gratifying and enjoyable roles in all of the almost thirty years I have been at Bloomfield College, and every semester, the PMTs teach me something new. We are fortunate to have such bright and energetic students in the program.
