1. All papers will receive letter grades. The minimum passing grade is a C, not a C-. Journals will receive added credit.
2. Final grades will be A, B, C or F (C- is not a passing grade). Final grades are based on exams, papers, tests, journals, participation, and any other assignments, in addition to regular attendance, study group attendance, and, if required, tutoring. You are allowed two attempts at passing the course. A second unsuccessful attempt will mean that you are not eligible to continue at the college next semester.
3. Your final examination will be evaluated not by your own instructor but by another member of the ACF 96-97 and/or ENG 106-107 faculty. You must pass the final examination to pass the course.
