Using Blackboard Assessment Tools and Respondus
This workshop will walk you through the process creating tests within Blackboard with more than thirteen built-in question types, and with Respondus - a test creation software for printing and for Internet. You will also learn how to transfer tests from Respondus into Blackboard.
Target audience: people who have basic Blackbaord experience in windows environment. |

Using Wiki for Student Learning and Collaboration: Weaving the Digital Threads Assistant Prof. Mark Jackson ( Bloomfield College), Reference & Online Resources Librarian, will showcase a wiki he created for Victoria C. Woodhull, American suffragist and the first woman to run for the office of president of the United States.
The Woodhull Wiki weaves audio, video, text, images, links, and original content into a tapestry of information that can form the basis for student learning and collaboration.

Managing Email in Outlokk 2007
Outlook 2007 comes with a lot of new features. This workshop will help the faculty and staff use Outlook 2007 more effectively, use of some of these new features such as sharing calendar, color-coding appointments, prioritizing e-mails, managing contacts and distribution lists will be demonstrated during the workshop. |

Smartboard & Symposium
Smartboard and Sympodium are College newly acquired classroom technology. Instructors can write on a whiteboard or a flat panel screen with a special pen; everything wrtten on the board or screen can be captured and saved for later review. The saved content can be packed and uploaded to Blackbaord or the web site.
