Bloomfield College Responds to the Military's Policy of Discrimination

The following statement has been endorsed by the college community. Faculty and DSG voted at their respective meetings on February 20th, 2003. Staff members were contacted via Email and print copies in mailboxes.

Bloomfield College faculty, staff and students do not agree with the Department of Defense's policy which discriminates against enlisting and commissioning armed forces personnel on the basis of sexual orientation.  We urge the Department of Defense to reconsider its policies and practices so that they reflect the diversity that is America
